We’re finishing up our 2-day stay at the reserve and today was astonishing. A group of 9 of us (including the 4 in my family) had a private feeding with 2 elephants. I’ve dreamed of this for over 2 decades, since I first learned of this, the first ethical elephant reserve in the world

They allow the elephants to roam and be wild, they don’t force the elephants to do anything, they don’t allow anyone to ride the elephants, they try to keep the elephants as natural as possible. They don’t even let you wash the elephants anymore because the tourists were splashing water into the elephants’ eyes and ears, causing infections. Elephants do splash themselves but they know where to splash and they can prepare their vulnerable spots for the water. 
This place is wonderful, they purchase corn stalks/husks, watermelons, bananas, cucumbers, etc. for the elephants from local farmers, who also take the elephant fertilizer away for their fields, they hire refugees and mountain villagers to work with the elephants (one person per elephant), and they take care of those men’s families and take their kids to school since they don’t have access to a Thai ID card which would allow them to go to a public school.

This place is wonderful. Please don’t give money to unethical elephant companies, they might be legal but they aren’t nice to the animals.

 So I decided to make a delicious peanut sauce, instead of the traditional spaghetti and marinara! .

You literally just throw some peanut butter in a sauce pan and add in all these ingredients to taste 👇🏼

Swipe to the third picture to see the ingredients for the veggie patty! Blend all of the ingredients (besides the seasoning) in a blender, and stir in the seasoning after! I also shredded up a bit of aged cheddar and mixed that in as well! Cook in a frying pan with olive oil, and then you’re done! I drizzled some gelatin free sour cream over mine as well!⁣⁣

Getting back into intermittent fasting, I downloaded the Zero app and I’m not sticking to the structured times so I’m not sure how successful it will be but I’m aiming for feeling happier and healthier!
I’m starting my new job on 10/9 and i am so nervous, alongside moving home to my parents house to save money to buy a lil home for myself. Sooooo lots of changes, I have no idea how routine will fit into this, I’d love to pay someone to organize my life for me 😥 the biggest, and most difficult change is that I won’t be living with my boyfriend anymore, it’s the scariest thing facing me and I have no idea what life will look like.

Serves 4

1tsp rapeseed oil
1tsp nigella seeds
1 butternut squash - cut into cubes
3 garlic cloves grated
1 thumb size piece of ginger grated
1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
1 1/2 tsp ground coriander 
1 tsp turmeric
1/2 - 1tsp chilli flakes (depending on how hot you like it)
1 sweetheart cabbage chopped into wide ribbons
.
Heat oil in pan, add nigella seeds, once they start to pop add the grated ginger and garlic. .
After 2 mins of cooking add the squash and spices. Give it a good stir and add a generous splash of water. Cover with a lid and leave the squash to steam. .
Keep your eye on the squash and add more water if needed.
.
Once the squash has started to soften (approx 20-30mins, can take longer depending on your oven and pan)
add the cabbage and add recover with the lid and leave to cook for a further 10mins.
.
Serve as a side dish to your favourite curry or mixed with some wild rice as a main and with a dollop of your favourite chutney. .

Roasted sweet potato, red onion, squash and chickpeas (I lovessssss me some chickpeas) with sautéed kale and quinoa. I always cook my quinoa in veggie broth to add some flavor! ⠀

My babies really like hummus, so I try to keep it in the fridge at all times (either store-bought or homemade.) Here’s an easy hummus recipe that I  use all the time.⠀

~1 can chickpeas⠀
~1/4 cup lemon juice ⠀
~1/4 cup tahini (ground sesame seeds)⠀
~1 garlic clove (minced)⠀
~2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil⠀
~1/2 tsp cumin ⠀
~4-5 Tbsp water ⠀
~salt & pepper to taste ⠀
~paprika to top⠀
⠀
Add ingredients to a food processor with two tablespoons of water to start. Mix all in processor and add the remaining tablespoons of water as it mixes. You can determine how thick you want your hummus and add water accordingly. Add salt and pepper to taste and then top it off with paprika to make it pretty 😃

The Mexican farro is simply sautéed  onion and garlic with chili powder, cumin, and paprika with a splash of salsa and then boil a @traderjoes farro pack with one cup of water in a medium covered pot until boiling and simmer for 10 min. .

This was one experiment that was absolutely divine!! Three lentils cooked in @alpro coconut and rice!

Easy one pot meal. Soaked half a cup of each. Green gram. Split chickpea and split green gram. 
In the pressure cooker went the lentils, an inch of ginger julienne, turmeric, kashmiri chilli powder, salt and sliced green chillies with a big glug of the @alpro coconut and rice. 3 whistles and a whisk later added  a garnish of sliced onions caramelized in ghee and some cumin powder.

You must try this! It's perfect to be eaten just as it is or pair with rice or chappathis!

「複雑骨折した左足首の骨が内巻きについてしまい、それに引っ張られて左足全部 内に入っている感じ。結果 股関節の可動域も狭くなったみたい。左足首 凄い硬い」
と初回で指摘され、股関節を中心に足全般と肩周りのストレッチをお願いして 本日 3回目。
アジャストなんかで
私の#parivrittasuryayantrasana を見たことある人は どれだけ私の形がひどいかをご存知でしょうが、3回通って やっと 少し形になってきた気がする。
正しい位置に戻った身体の部位の位置をキープすべく 毎晩ストレッチを頑張ろうと思うわけです。

しっかり朝ご飯を食べたのに1時間半のマンツーマンストレッチで汗だく+腹ペコ。
猛烈にダバリたくなり(ダバ インディアに行くの意) ランチのベジタリアンミールスを大満喫。
