Non parce que après tout, qui voyez-vous de réellement « parfait » sur la plage ? Je me faisais la réflexion il y a quelques jours. Bin oui en fait les nanas ont toutes de la cellulite, toutes du gras par ci pas là 🤔🙏🏼

Même ici à LA, le constat est identique : on se fait vraiment du mal pour rien a vouloir cacher notre ventre, marcher à reculons pour pas montrer le doublebutt ( Faites pas genre on l’a TOUTE FAIT😂😂😂)

La torture vient avant tout de notre cerveau, non pas tant de ce qui se passe autour de nous.

Cette année, pas une seule fois je me suis interdit une position sur ma serviette sous prétexte que ça me désavantageait. Pas une seule fois j’ai marché vers l’eau en m’imaginant la tronche de mon arrière-cuisse pendant ce temps là.

It is sad to think that eating disorders have become glamorous. Why? It is a dangerous disease that takes over your life and can kill you. The internet says that starving yourself will make you beautiful. Believe me, it won't. Your self-esteem will not be any better if the number of the scale is lower than the day before. You are beautiful just the way you are. So tell me why we should glamorize a disease that can kill people? Anorexia is a slow suicide, that's what it is, not a diet or a lifestyle. I think body pressure is something you create in your own mind, but at the same time, I don't understand the point of writing that Kendall Jenner only eat 500 calories on a new diet. Things like this helps to glamorizing eating disorders. This was just an example, and I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. •

Up nearly 20 lbs since my low in February. I don’t always feel comfortable in this body but it’s all part of the plan to come back better than ever in 2020 🏆

The symptoms can interfere with daily activities such as job performance, school work, and relationships✨

The most important thing to know is that although anxiety sucks, there are many things that you can do feel better and manage it✨

All I’m saying is this: embrace summer and make a Mediterranean themed bowl for meal prep because OMG. I sautéed peppers, onions, and garlic with warm spices (turmeric, cinnamon, paprika, cumin) and then tossed it with @plainvillepoultry organic ground turkey. Well I did it. Not as gung-ho (is that a word?) as usual but I did it. After a week of not being in the gym at all and then hit with a horrible cold I still managed to pick myself up and get back at it as planned. Like always, my plan was set before I crawled into bed with my Kleenex box. When my alarm went off my clothes were out, my bags packed and I was ready to go. It’s okay that I was sluggish this morning, my body is getting back into the routine and recovering from being sick; don’t get down on yourself if you’re just starting out or getting back at it…it’s not easy! I do always find that a good (or semi decent) sweat session helps speed the recovery of a cold (I’m not a doctor, but it works for me). Today I worked upper body, for no other reason than I wanted to. I kept my circuit short and sweet. I upped my reps because I was working with a lower weight than usual: 
Workout:
▶️ 5k run
▶️ Bentover Row (4x15)
▶️ Zottman Curls (4x15)
▶️ Arnold Press (4x15)
▶️ Lateral Raise (4x15)

I WAS WRONG

I have little space to write down everything the way I WANT as I know this can be interpreted in 18362 different ways.

Over time you may have noticed how my definition of “ flexibility “ has changed. I have always been skeptical of people with the “clean eating” trend just because I was orthorexic (health obsessed) myself for a while. Then I went to the extremes of ‘ IIFYM ‘ and attempted to eat as much junk as I could possibly fit although I knew this wasn’t an appropriate behavior - I felt like “I finally could eat all I deprived myself from”

The truth is that I was wrong in both ends. I didn’t understand that flexibility was about choosing between chicken or fish, rice or pasta. Or when I had festive occasions and unplanned social events where I could perfectly fit my intake. I didn’t understand that to be flexible you didn’t even needed to count a gram of food. I didn’t understand that although kcal by kcal foods impact in body composition may be similar, in terms of psychological effects, long term SUSTAINABLE eating behaviors, training performance, good habit creations this was THE WORSE thing I did. 
Knowing everything that is in food is both freeing and restraining. You feel obliged to be someone who never fails, who never goes off plan, who MUST have everything controlled 
I was NOT FLEXIBLE by any means. In fact, macro counting made me a slave of the numbers. I would spend hours to fit a junk food. I would plan my day around food. I would avoid to eat certain things I didn’t know the calories from.

But not everything is bad. It gave me knowledge to be able to know the nutritional value of food, to control my weight, to give me structure to my life and know what and when to eat for the most part. 
But it didn’t teach me that the clean foods are the ones the will give you the most benefit in the long run . It is what will allow you not to have to think about macros, because your body will auto regulate - and NOT AN APP.

I know it seems like I’m eating junk all the time but I sometimes just repost things 🤦🏼‍♀️ Yes it was good to track every single thing and fit ‘ fun foods ‘ in my day.

But it didn’t teach me that the clean foods are the ones the will give you the most benefit in the long run . It is what will allow you not to have to think about macros, because your body will auto regulate - and NOT AN APP.

Nothing quite says that your holiday is over like an absolutely brutal Monday @f45_training_farringdon sesh 😂😂 I had no motivation to get my own workout done today so decided to rely on my favs at F45 to get me back into my usual workout routine. Well they definitely got me straight back into it and decided to add an extra 101% 😅😂
No matter how fit you think you are, there will always be sessions that are a struggle. I was convinced at one point during today’s workout that I was close to vomming approx 10 litres of olive oil and 20 blocks of feta cheese #greeklife 😂 Although it might be hard to LOVE those sessions in the moment, I promise you that they are so worth it as you will feel so great afterwards! Embrace the struggle and feel proud of yourself for getting it done 💪🏼

SO HAPPY to be back at the gym with MOTIVATION☺️💛 this weekend I took a lil break (was very busy so was definitely still active). It was much needed to take a step back and have a break. I also went off my challenge a little. If you aren’t feeling motivated it’s okay to take a step back, as long as when you come back you are still consistent. This week my goals will be cutting down, hittin the gym & to hydrate!!!

Dove 👅💦right in there 🍠. I AM FINALLY HOME! I had an amazing experience trying all the Croatian food. However, I missed my cooking and creating my own meals. To start off this Monday I decided to make a loaded sweet potato! My friends, this was amazing. Don’t deprive yourself cause this tastes like dessert. We got the fats, carbs, and protein all in one. Aaaaaaalter ich muss mal kurz meine Aggressionen rauslassen, tut mir Leid😂😅 Ich hasse Einkaufen! Ich HASSE HASSE HASSE Einkaufen!!! Ich war heute, wie man sich jetzt wohl denken kann, mal wieder größer Einkaufen und es ist immer noch jedes Mal eine Challenge. Heute war sogar diese Süßstoff-Protein-Scheiße reduziert! Ich frag mich echt, ob mich jetzt sämtliche Supermärkte auch noch auf die Probe stellen wollen?!?🤦‍♀️ Neeeheheheh nicht mit mir😅 Ich habe genug von irgendwelchen Süßstoffen, Light-Produkten und co. Fast 2 Monate sinds jetzt schon. So lange schon verzichte ich komplett auf alle diese Produkte und ich bleibe dabei. PUNKT!

Seit meiner Fructosemalabsorption interessiere ich mich ja sehr für Süßstoffe und Zuckeralkohole, weil ich fest davon überzeugt bin, dass sich mein damaliger exzessiver Süßstoffkonsum negativ auf meine Darmflora ausgewirkt hat. Jetzt in diesen gerade mal knapp 2 Monaten habe ich bereits riiiiesen Veränderungen feststellen können. Wahnsinn!

Ich lese mir sehr oft Artikel über dieses Thema durch oder schaue viele Videos und Dokus dazu an. Und wisst ihr, inzwischen denk ich mir: Okay, zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt ist sich die Wissenschaft noch nicht einig, inwiefern sich Süßstoffe und co. auf unseren Körper und unser Mikrobiom auswirken. Aber ich kann mir gut vorstellen, dass man in 10-20 Jahren deutlich mehr weiß. Warum also das Risiko eingehen und das Zeug konsumieren? Wenn sich in 20 Jahren rausstellt, dass das Zeug Gift für unseren Körper ist, dann bin ich diejenige, die sich freuen kann, weil sie nicht mit der Masse mitgegangen ist und ihr Essen mit massenweise Geschmackspulvern, Flavedrops und co übersüßt hat oder sich mit Proteinriegeln, Proteineis und co vollgestopft hat. Wenn sich aber rausstellt, dass das ganze keine negativen Effekte oder sogar positive Effekte auf unseren Körper hat, dann habe ich bis zu dem Zeitpunkt anscheinend ja trotzdem überlebt, auch ohne Süßstoffe, und kann aber endlich guten Gewissens auch mal sowas konsumieren. ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

A packet of Waitrose garlic soya chunks with green beans, baby carrots and noodles fried in coconut oil. Added some salt, pepper, lemon juice and sriracha afterwards. Yellow stickers made this meal <£3 and containing 45g protons. Big hype.

And Spotto Bench being a babe of 77.5 kg for 5x3 RPE easy peazy lemon 7.5 🙌🏻 Love training @cumbria_s_c when I’m back at home.

Lovely quiet atmosphere and amazing equipment. Would fully recommend 💪 .
Results take time. Don’t get stress, take your time, trust the process.

I get asked a lot if I mainly do body weight workouts like gymnastics or if I do train in the gym so I thought I’d give you a quick update of what life is like for me rn.

I seem to have settled into some form of routine over the last few months since starting work. I would like to say I’m quite active but it depends on the week & how well my training actually goes. I hit at least 2 sessions in the gym training upper & lower body sometimes 3 depending on the week. -

I do one class at the gym on Thursday mornings, 2 hours gymnastics on Sundays either working new skills or conditioning & have just introduced @fiit Club classes that I can do at home to give my competitive side it’s fix & move my body on work days . The truth is I find hitting my step count difficult on days I work, as I drive an hour there, hour back & only have half hour for lunch. When I can, I try to get a quick 10 minute walk in to increase my NEAT. -

Sometimes I wish my body looked differently, but tbh I am loving training right now & I feel stronger than ever. I’m not here for short term gains, I’m in it for the long run🙌🏼

I’ll start by saying that I was never a runner. Running was my least favorite form of cardio. And I do cardio like once a month. So yeah, this is something very crazy for me to do. But I wanted to challenge myself. To learn how it feels to do something really hard. How to keep going when you want to quit. How to push through the pain and stay committed to something no matter how hard it is. I am only 7 days in, but I have already learned so much about my body and my mindset. If you have been watching my stories, you know I have joined this challenge where every day, for 30 days, I have to run 2 miles 😬
I’ll start by saying that I was never a runner. Running was my least favorite form of cardio. And I do cardio like once a month. So yeah, this is something very crazy for me to do. But I wanted to challenge myself. To learn how it feels to do something really hard. How to keep going when you want to quit. How to push through the pain and stay committed to something no matter how hard it is. I am only 7 days in, but I have already learned so much about my body and my mindset. Even though this might be the hardest challenge I have done, it is also one of the most powerful for me ♥️ Who wants to join? It’s never to late
Haven't been at the gym in two weeks!? Feels weird to be back but at the same time I remembered why I started going to the gym. You can listen to music and talk to nobody; there's only you if you don't care what others are doing. Love it💕
