Diet, not A diet, but our daily intake of food, supplements & nutrients are most definitely a beginning step to controlling the symptoms & preventing their onset in the first place. Strenuous exercise is not a good idea as it places physical stress on our already fragile body, and can most certainly cause flare ups. Because I am less active, weight gain is a major hurdle. Controlling my weight with nutrition is a double positive effect on symptom control. I don't know about you, but I am DONE feeling this way! Depression kicks my ass on the daily, concentration & memory issues, pain everywhere so bad sometimes my hair hurts. Headaches, urine & bowel issues, fatigue like nobody's business..this shits for the birds! I want ME back! Through extensive research, I've learned what the medical community believes causes fibro. A few mitigating factors, one big one is prolonged trauma on our pituitary gland, causing, among many other issues, our bodies lose the ability to secrete vital excess proteins. Hence, pungent urine, and intestinal issues. The current fibromyalgia treatments only treat the symptoms..but I have to wonder, what is the base cause of these symptoms in the first place? Ima have to find a way I can get back to the healthier me. Prerescribed medications cause additional symptoms also needing medication to treat those new symptoms..that's dumb. Not to mention painkiller addiction. Ibuprofen and aspirin have ingredients that cause severe flare ups, entirly exasperating old symptoms causing new additional symptoms. Why? Because those two in particular have the active ingredient that our bodies have a difficult time getting rid of. Stupid, right?? I'm OVER it. Big pharma can kiss my ass. I'm finding ways to treat my damn self & I plan on throwing fibromyalgia into remission!
