Music inspired by @beeple_crap incredible artwork. This got me really inspired for an intense, battle scene, soundtrack type song. Like everything was coming to a crashing end. The dragons were winning and their followers were marching in to clean up what's left. I want big percussion and heavy brass and started the track this way, eventually layering in strings and piano. I used clashing notes in the D harmonic minor scale and had the tempo at 111bpm.

Song Name: Feeding the Flames
Melody and Contrast in Arrangement
Instruments & Software:
Ableton Live 10
Albion One (Kontakt)
Action Strikes (Kontakt)
Olympus Elements (Kontakt)
I started out with the brass section from Albion One. I knew I wanted this to sound big, ominous and angry. I then used Action Strikes to emphasize the energy with some big percussive hits. I then started to layer in octaves of strings from Albion One. Some acted more as the melody while the other added to the harmony. I next wrote the middle section with piano and just higher pitched strings to keep it light. I wanted all the low end to go away for contrast. I lastly added in the choir with Olympus Elements. I did some tweaks to the percussion, arrangement and choir at the end. Mostly rhythmically.
