5 days till Lover!!!
I made an aesthetic for the most iconic country album ever which changed the frickin industry, becoming the most awarded country album in HISTORY and which won an AOTY when Taylor. It's absolutely iconic (and scooter should be arrested for changing it to Pop on Apple music. Absolutely disgusting and utterly stupid.)
The first songs I ever heard by Taylor was Love Story!!! It literally changed my life even though I don't listen to it at all anymore (probably because it was on repeat for a solid year or two). I discovered Taylor because someone sang it at my school- thank you whoever did.
Then I probably listened to YBWM and White Horse those are the first songs I remember listening to and I LOVED THEM ALL even though I didn't exactly understand or relate to them.
My favourites from the album are- Breathe, a song which I think is really underrated. It talks of such an important topic? Friendships breakups and toxic friendships aren't talked about often. When you love someone but you know you have to let them go because they're not good for you. Yes it happens in friendships too. I love this song.
Fifteen, a song that I could relate to and that inspired me at 11, at 15 and at 18 (listen I turn 18 on Thursday I say I'm 18 alright). My FAVOURITE lyric would be- in your life you'll do things greater than dating the boy on the football team- something a lot of girls/boys should understand.
And then You're not sorry because DUHHH who doesn't need this song in their life GOD IT'S AMAZING HOW TAYLOR HAS A SONG FOR EVERY MOOD EVERY SITUATION
FOREVER AND ALWAYS PIANO VERSION THIS BTCH IS SO UNDERRATED AND BEAUTIFUL much more than the original version.
When she goes silent at "silence" it's my favourite part in the whole song aaaah.
And The Best Day
I can listen to the best day any time and cry. It's beautiful. I love the transition from I don't know why all the trees change in the fall to now I know why all the trees change in the fall. Lol I'm crying writing this, because I'm growing up so fast. It's crazy. -
