When you walk with the Lord, there is a rainbow ahead of you.
We don't always know what color comes next, or when, or how deep/rich it will appear. Specifics aren't guaranteed, but nevertheless, according to Jeremiah 29:11 a future is. Not a bland one.
Promise of God: many more memories will be sealed in our jar-like hearts.
Like summers or autumns of 2019, 2023, 2027 and so on. Times to come. Within these time frames, things will change. The scenes of life will be altered by the momentum of God's wind. Circunstances, jobs, relationships, and locations will be transfigured as His purposes reach out of the ground and extend toward the sun. His purposes, likened to shoots of grass, will break through the earth. The very fabric of our life will be woven.
In 2 years, life may look similar to what it looks like now. In 5 years, the circumstances surrounding this post could be a memory. In 10 years, dreams could be realities.
The real-life walk with God demands change because His purpose is like a long roller coaster with one start point and one end point. Once He takes you to a new spot on the tracks, the old spot 20 feet back is gone, past.
10 years from now my life will never be able to look like it does right now, ever again, because His work is always elevation (within humility).
Whether the color next is velvety red or plumb purple, crisp red apple or soft yellow.... I know that in Him it's wholesome and important, vital actually. Whatever He says is next, must be next. Whatever He does next, must be good. And suffering doesn't mean that He's not good. In fact, situations of life don't ever define the sovereignty and height of God.
In Christ, there's a roadmap uniquely designed for us. A blueprint of life already written in blood. If we remain in Christ, then the car will drive us forward according to each of His already planned turns, stops, climbs, and so on.
We will drive through valleys and up mountains. See stars and see oceans. Smell rain and smell cities. Feel humidity and blustery snow. Laugh and weep, give and collect. 🕒 Ecclesiastes 3: there's a time for it all. 💐🍃🌱☔❄🌠☀🌀🌊🌈 #god #jesus #bible
