I ate an ice cream cone... who cares right?
What’s so special about an ice cream cone?
Well, it’s not just an ice cream cone.
It’s my first time having dairy in over a year. I eliminated dairy while healing my gut. Prior to stem cells I tested positive for a reaction to cow milk. After the stem cell protocol we were supposed to try reintroduction. But unfortunately, the strict diet fuelled a pattern of unintentional undereating and orthorexic behaviours. So not only was I terrified of dairy, but the thought of processed foods that aren’t nutrient dense sparked all kinds of anxiety.
This week I’ve gotten serious about making some changes. Changes that involve my diet, but more importantly, changes that involve my mind.
I am choosing food freedom and mental happiness over a perfect diet and a certain weight. *it’s actually more unhealthy to be obsessed over a perfect diet than to not have a perfect diet*
So, it’s an ice cream cone, but it is an active choice towards freedom and a life that is all mine.
PS - I brought my own gf cone to DQ and those lovely humans did it up for me 🙏🏼
