All-Ireland Final day at @crokepark_official , a day that stirs up magnificent memories for @limerickgaa_official fans everywhere. It's also a day that sharpens our focus on making more of these memories in the future - while we feel a strong tinge of sadness at not being there today. 🔸

A big day in Dublin this afternoon for Monaleen. These 4 men winning the National u15 Academy Dermot Early Cup and our U13s make the final of the @kcpurpleandgold hurling tournament (result to follow). A big evening too in Cappamore at Senior Hurling Championship at 6. #limerickgaa

One of my favorite places to disconnect. Doolin sits right beside the cliffs of Moher on the Wild Atlantic Way, conveniently located about 20 minutes from home.
I’ve been getting deep into the study of flow states and accelerated learning recently and have been trying to incorporate the techniques used by top performers into my own daily activities.
Flow seems like a wishy washy term to throw around these days but when the scientific literature is taken into account it is hard to argue against it.
For example when a person is in deep flow they begin to take in and process information faster and in more detail. This improves pattern recognition and augments the creative process, hence how in a flow state you do things automatically and only on reflection you realize how creative a particular movement/idea was at the time.
The best thing about this experience is that is it further amplifies learning so that you are more likely to repeat a variation of the task another time or in a different situation.
Examples of performers who always have to be in a flow state would be big wave surfers, free climbers and wingsuit base jumpers.
All of these sports require immediate flow states as the consequences of failure are so high. That is why now researchers find the term “adrenaline junkie” not as fitting as flow/zone addict/junkie.
Check out Laird Hamilton surfing Teahupoo (heaviest wave in the world) or Nazare surfers to get some context.
You don’t have to put your life on the line for it, as everyone has been in the zone at some stage, but there is a few techniques to help you fall into it faster.
If you’d be interested in me talking more about this let me know 🤙
I’m down the rabbit hole now 🐰
Zoom in to see the hurling strongholds these sticks are going to! ✌💪

Another piece of a lower body mobility flow session I did during the week.
There is a good mix of exercises here so pick your favorite and work on it at home.
Again, there was no specific reps or sets I just moved through them at my own pace.
If you have any questions just pop them below and I’ll do my best to answer them for you.
I’m organizing more initial consults for the end of this week. If you would be interested in speaking more about mobility training get in contact and we can try set one up.
