This is a little late, but basically I'm gonna sum up my thoughts on marijuana and back up my claim. From what I've read, marijuana is a short term memory loss drug that's generally harmless unless in severe doses over prolonged use. I personally think it should only be used for medical reasons. It has been shown to help people who are undergoing chemotherapy, and people with glaucoma. I find this as an acceptable use because it is in very small doses and for possibly a short amount of time. Whereas continuous use can lead to an "addiction" which is more of a dependence. Some studies show that weed can lead to schizophrenia because of what it does in the brain, but this is only from heavy use. I still don't think it should be legal for recreational use because it can lead to the user trying new drugs and there is already an ongoing drug epidemic in the US and we don't need any more problems. There's a lot more I can go into, but I'm keeping it short.
