It almost seems silly to me that I am making this post. But I couldn’t help myself considering every single day when I go to heat my breakfast up at work my coworkers drool over the smell of my bacon. As if it’s this forbidden food. When did bacon get such a bad rap?🤔 A key when dieting is knowing your options. If you track macros, you've typically got two: 1. Eat the real thing and make it fit OR 2. Find a similar alternative that is more macro friendly. 💁🏼♀️ First, consider the situation. Is the a random treat because you’re at a party or event?🍩 Or something you know you’re going to want every day.
For me, I know that my breakfast doesn’t feel complete, nor taste as good😅...without bacon.🤷🏼♀️ So, instead of trying to make regular (full fat) bacon fit EVERY DAY, I found an alternative. Let’s be clear, it’s still bacon... I ain’t eaten no tofu 😬🙃 #dotheymaketofubacon #thatsoundsterrible
But, it’s a more macro friendly option. Instead of the usual 8-12g of fat per slice, it has 3g of fat for 2 slices! 😍🙌🏼 Dieting is simple when you KNOW yourself & what your body(or mental health 😂) can’t go without. & then become educated enough to just know what your options are in meeting those needs.
