I see you, doing your thing.
I see you, starting to hit that wall.
I see you, feeling the struggle.
I see you, wanting to quit.
I see you, deciding that you don’t really want to do that.
I see you, trying to switch the gears.
I see you, trying to fight the hard.
And in the end, I see you one of two ways: Either mad/ sad/ frustrated/disappointed right now because you DID gave up, or I see you smiling, because you never gave in and you powered through to that sweet sweet victory called happiness. *
There’s three questions I started asking myself when I hit a new “omg I want to quit right here and now” wall. (and it often comes right after a time of success, after you felt like you just won the hard... and then boom something harder... the real test of your strength) *
1. Gratitude check. What am I thankful for right now? And what’s one small gesture I can I do to show my gratitude?
2. Goal check. What am I working for? WHY do I want it so bad? Is it worth more than this harddd?
3. Growth check. Am I doing the things that inspire me? Am I showing up to where I want to be, to the things that make me better? To the people who help me thrive most? *
