I believe in a strong woman. Infact i want to be a strong woman.
I want to stand up for myself. I don't want to hide behind anybody's back. I want to deal with my problems not play the victim or the blame game. I definitely don't want to point fingers. I want to be that woman who can face the world with her head held high and carrying the universe in her heart. I want to be it all.... But I fail, many times I fail to be that woman. I play victim or I blame or I don't take responsibility for my actions. I get weak, I succumb to pressure, I find it hard to keep pace with this fast moving world 😥😥 Those days I seek help - a little help from my mat and my some from the silence, some from my practice and some by talking to a confidant or my family members. Most of the times it helps. Makes me come back stronger. But, sometimes no matter what you do it just doesn't help 😥
What can I do then?
I lie on my bed and I wait for the feeling to pass. Some days it passes soon and may be when I am PMSing it takes longer. But the only thing I firmly believe is - IT WILL PASS 😍The good or the bad, all of it will pass 🙏🙏 So I am trying to be a strong woman every morning and I go to bed at night being thankful for all the good and bad that happened. It's making me grow stronger 💃💃 This was on one such day where I felt my strongest 😊😊 #yogawithcheryl #postclass #upavistakonasana #upavistakonasanab #wideseatedforwardbend #astangaseries #astangayoga #astangavinyasa #primaryseries #loveforastanga #practicemakesperfect

Do you feel like you give to others all the time and never receive back enough🤔? It could be love or time or money or care. It could be in your relationship with your partner or family or boss or neighbor🤷

I dont know about you but for many years I felt that way. I feel it sometimes even now but it's gotten better.
So when I was thinking about Karma and how whatever you think or say has an energy frequency to it, how whatever you put out in the universe finds its matching energy frequency and is returned to you - it struck me😯. I asked myself at what frequency am I giving out to people? Is it because I want them to return the same amount of love to me or make me feel wanted and important? I realised that when I give, seeking for something in return I don't get back as much as i would, had I given without seeking for anything in return🙄🙄. From then, I consciously practice giving out to people without wanting anything in return. Yes I am human and I am selfish and I am flawed but at least I can try to be more generous everyday 😊

So when the energy frequency of what I sent out became more pure, more true, I started receiving in ways I couldn't even imagine💃. It didn't always come back in the same way but sometimes it came back in better ways🙏. Makes me wonder how limited is our thought process😏? We want things to come in packages we desire but we are not open to receiving better when the universe sends out to us. I urge you to give, to give with pure thoughts and pure intent and to willingly accept all that comes your way. The universe may give you more, give you better blessings😍. Don't shy away from receiving coz a good receiver will be given in abundance🤗🙏. Believe when your intent is right the universe supports and guides you.. 😁

Hence I learnt LOVE ISN'T SOMETHING YOU FIND.. LOVE IS SOMETHING THAT FINDS YOU 🤗😘 #yogawithcheryl #vishwamitrasana #balanceact #artofbalancing #astangaseries #astangathirdseries #thirdseries #shoulderopening #heartopening #heartopeningpose #loveforastanga

Friday’s classes -

10:00-11:30
Taught Astanga practice with Cesca
@cescacross

These classes run as drop in classes - best suitable for those with some previous yoga experience who want to begin an Astanga style of practice. Classes are shortened versions of the Primary Series, allowing modifications to be provided, for each individual student - allowing them to become familiar to the full Primary Series, leading to gaining the confidence to begin a self practice or Mysore style class. -

16:30-18:00
Meditative Yoga with Holly
Suitable for all abilities

This hatha yoga class combines a pranayama breathing practice with a series of physical asanas to mindfully stretch the body and prepare for an extended relaxation with yoga nidra. Perfect for unwinding after a busy week, this deeply nourishing class will give you space to release tension and fully relax both body and mind. -

19:30-21:00
Restorative Yoga with Cesca
Suitable for all abilities

This class combines breath/Pranayama along with long held relaxation poses and releasing techniques; helping students to restore the balance between the two.
The student watches the breath and the directions that the mind tries to take itself; distracting from that which is important – the breath and the inner sensations of the body.
It is when the body and mind truly relax that real healing begins. Restorative yoga is one of the most interesting practices of modern yoga – less is more – you are required to be as comfortable as you can possibly be assisted by the facilitators/teachers.
Helping students to restore the body after illness, injury or just exhaustion - mental or physical. Cesca has a strong interest in investigating and practicing restorative yoga and its effects on the nervous system and the mind.

Friday’s classes -

10:00-11:30
Taught Astanga practice with Cesca
@cescacross

Let a man go down as low as possible, there must come a time when out of sheer desperation he will take an upward curve and will learn to have faith in himself. But it is better for us that we should know it from the very first. Why should we have all these bitter experiences in order to gain faith in ourselves? We can see that all the difference between man and man is owing to the existence or non-existence of faith in himself.

Restorative Yoga with Cesca
Suitable for all abilities
@cescacross
