Bicep curls at home! No equipment necessary! I know it may look like you need to be flexible, but trust me, I am the furthest thing from. If I can do it, you can do it! Your legs acts as the weight by applying downward pressure. Add or lessen the weight by varying how hard your leg presses against your hand 💪🏽 #Biceps #ArmDay

On Saturday following Jessie’s killer leg workout, I decided it was a perfect day for a DQ chicken strip basket, so I made it fit my macros. Yesterday I wanted some ice cream, so I logged it and made it fit. I then found myself at a local taproom sipping on a beer. I hadn’t planned for it but I logged it and adjusted my macros to make up for it. Both days I still hit my macros and micros (other than sodium on Saturday, go figure). Besides the beer and ice cream the rest of my meals yesterday included whole foods, so even with subtracting some carbs to make the beer fit I still had over 30 grams of fiber. In the end I was able to eat “unhealthy” foods without “cheating”. ➡️ in order to 𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐄 fat you need to be in a caloric deficit, and overall be expending more calories than you’re eating - fat loss will occur in different areas for different people at 𝐃𝐈𝐅𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓 times.⁣
➡️ “𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠” is not a scientific thing - a combo of having overall muscle + losing fat can give your a body recomposition of a “leaner” and “tighter” look⁣
➡️ if you do not have a built up amount of muscle and you immediately get into a fat loss mode, this can give you a look of “skinny fat”⁣

Part of an arms day, I'm doing some triceps work here. I read a great tip on one of my favorite websites (weighttraining.guide) that talked about how important it is to keep your elbows in tight when doing this-otherwise the deltoids step in and take the workload. If you can't keep your elbows in, you need to lighten the weight.  Good form is so important when you are lifting to make sure you get the right muscles performing, and of course, to prevent injury! Meal prep something different this week, Chili baked hot dogs. 
Scratch is the best in my opinion 😉 Thoroughly impressed with this dish. Not a basic “healthy” meal prep but I believe as long as you maintain a decent balanced diet with an active lifestyle you are golden✌🏻 I’ve noticed this last month I’ve eaten what I want, in moderation of course and I feel great about myself. I’ve also made it a point to getting back to a regular regimen. Holding myself accountable if I’m not at the gym I need to jog the pups for a minimum mile and half when the sun goes down. I am human shit happens, but last week even with migraines throughout my week I was able to get in 4days of being active somehow.

1️⃣ SUPERSET: INCLINE DB CURL/SPIDER-MAN CURL
Sit back against an incline bench with your arms hanging straight down below your shoulders and palms facing your body. Exhale and contract your bicep to lift the weight. Rotate your wrists from a neutral grip to a supinated grip as you get to the top. Inhale as you return to the starting position. 
Superset with a Spider-Man curl by leaning your chest against the incline bench. Start with your arms hanging straight down and hands in a supinated position. Exhale while contracting your biceps and bringing the weights to your shoulders. Inhale as you return to the starting position. 
2️⃣ ONE-ARM DB SKULL CRUSHERS 
Start with your arm tilted back above your chest with your palm facing inward (not having your arms straight directly above you will keep the tension on your triceps throughout the whole move). Exhale and lower the weight behind your head with control by bending your elbow. Inhale when returning to the starting position. 
3️⃣ CABLE CURL
Attach a straight bar to a low pulley on a cable machine. Grab the bar shoulder width apart with a supinated grip. Exhale and curl the bar towards your shoulder while keeping your elbows against your torso. Hold the contraction at the top then inhale as you lower the weight back to the starting position. 
4️⃣ SUPERSET: OVERHEAD CABLE TRICEP EXTENSION/TRICEP ROPE PUSHDOWN
Attach a rope to a high pulley on a cable machine. Face away from the cable and grab the rope above your head. Position yourself into a split stance and lean forward by hinging at the hips. With your palms facing each other, pull the rope over your head by extending your elbows and contracting your triceps while exhaling. Slowly bring the rope back to the starting position while inhaling. 
Superset with a tricep rope push down.  Face the cable and grab the rope in front of your body with your palms facing each other. With a slight forward lean, exhale and push down the rope by extending your elbows and flexing your triceps. Hold the contraction at the bottom then inhale while controlling the weight back to the starting position.
